Wicked good time

My sweet mother-in-law took Abby & I to see a matinee performance of Wicked for our birthdays. Little did we know when it was planned that Atlanta's Gay Pride Parade would be going on at the same time, right in front of the Fox. We were unsure about parking, if we'd have to be dropped off and walk, if there was going to be a place to eat, etc. Needless to say, we didn't have any issues with parking or eating so it all turned out well. We had a great time and Wicked was awesome!

Arriving at the Fox

We had brunch at The Georgian Terrace, right across from the theater.

Brunch is served...

Getting in on the celebration!

Just some of the colorful attire that was worn that day.

Abby kept wondering why there were so many people in costumes...it's close to Halloween. I wasn't quite ready for that conversation with my 9 year old.

Thanks Judy for such a fun & colorful day!
