Last night was Woodward Academy Primary School's Tailgate party and game night. Abby's been at the Primary school for going on 4 years now and this is the first time we've been. Lame.
We ventured off to the middle school for the tailgate BBQ (which was free) and had burgers and hotdogs then we walked with the rest of the students and families over to the football stadium to watch the Woodward Academy War Eagles play against Carrollton's Central High.
It's been many, many years since I've attended a HS football game. It was fun to people-watch and both Todd and I noticed the young teenage girls who were there and knowing full well that Abby will be one of those teenagers before we know it.
Abby had a great time seeing her little friends & cheering the team on. We stayed thru the half-time show which was the marching bands of both schools. I will say that Central High out-banded WA. They were awesome.
In the end, Woodward beat the Lions 42-0.
