Grandma's Stuff & my 38th

My cute Grandma Whiting died almost a year ago and I did not have the opportunity to go through her belongings. My dad and siblings did though and Randy saved me a few treasures. I got them in the mail this past week. Here are the treasures I got:

This darling owl napkin holder!

This was wallpaper in Grandma's kitchen for as long as I can remember and Randy sent me a sample roll of it.

These cute plastic flower "screw on" earrings. Classic!

I am so happy to have a few reminders of Grandma. They are sweet treasures.
For my b-day this past week, Todd got me a few kitchen things; colander, mini muffin pan & a portable food carrier. I'm forever transporting food so it was great. He also got me a pair of those shoes that are supposed to give you a workout just by wearing them.

Then there was this....

Todd secretly took my small roll of Grandma's wallpaper and an old photo of Grandma and me at my wedding and put them together. I cried. Todd is very thoughtful when it comes to gifts and this one is extra special to me.

That was so nice of Randy to save that wall paper for you and so thoughtful of your husband to add the picture. So sweet!

I'm a bit on the sentimental side myself, so I love what went into that special gift, both by Randy and Todd; they get major brownie points. XOX
