Spring Break: Day 4- Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom was our chosen park for day 4.  Last time we went to Disney World, we didn't really spend much time at Animal Kingdom but this time we devoted the entire day.

Our first ride was Expedition Everest.  We didn't attempt this ride last time so we all got in line.  It was the first & last time for Todd and Abby...Todd was nauseated for about 3 hours afterward and Abby cried.  Sam, on the other hand, went three times.

After Everest, we went to Dinoland USA and the kids & I rode a couple of rides.  We then finally tracked down where they sold corn dogs and had a quick lunch before heading off to Africa!

Lunch buddies!

We then got in line for the Safari and it was so cool!

After we finished the safari we toured the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.  We didn't do this last time either!  It was really neat...beautiful birds, gorillas, flowers, etc.

Abby really got into Pin Trading at all the parks!

We then enjoyed the parade!  This park closes at 6pm so it was time to leave.

We went back to the hotel and let the kids swim and slide at the pool.  The poor lifeguard who was monitoring the slide was forced to give Sam a "thumbs up" every.single.time Sam went down the slide.  Poor girl.

They then hosted a marshmallow roast (minus the grahams & chocolate-what?)

After swimming, we went to a mediocre dinner at our hotel restaurant.  Perhaps we are food snobs but the food served at Disney is not great.

to be continued...
