You know when you've been planning something for so long and then it's over? It's so depressing. That's how I feel about our trip to the beach with our dear friends, the Murphy family.
We put together this trip months ago and now it's over. We had such a wonderful time together and enjoyed every minute of our time together.
The four of us arrived the day before the Murphy's flew in so we enjoyed some time with just us.

Here they come!
(slight delay due to detour to feed Mary's addiction of Diet Coke)

There were days when the smell of smoke was so strong that you couldn't be outside. The Okeefenokee Swamp was on fire and the wind blew the smoke our way.
Also, a $30 million beach renovation was under way. The pipe below stretched the length of the beach. Luckily the big machinery was past the house and we were able to access the beach. Phew!
Todd spent about 20 minutes getting the bikes ready for a ride that lasted about 2 minutes.
"It's so hot!"
On our way to Pasta Night at the club. The only day we actually dressed up.
(the only day I wore make-up the entire trip)
We had such a wonderful time together and hope to do it again soon. Many thanks to my in-laws for letting us stay at their beautiful house.

Awww, that looks like such a fun time. I'm glad you guys got to visit with them for so long!
Wow!!! I babysat those beautiful girls when Annie couldn't. I can't believe how grown up they all are. What a fun trip.
I"m green right now. As green as my grass in spring, as green as the snow peas Nick left on his dinner plate last night, as green as Elphaba. Green, green, green, green, green.
It looks like you had a fantastic time Kim. A little glimpse of what heaven will be like . . .
